Personalized - The first step Terry takes in the design process is to take into account the client's personality, social life, the shape of their hand, as well as the price range that they want to work within before beginning to design.

Terry's Background

Terry's works are elegant sculptured shapes rather than busy surface design and the simplicity of shape is his trademark.

He tries to show off the customers hand to best advantage while keeping the design suitable to his or her lifestyle, work and social interests.

Terry, a journeyman goldsmith, was trained mostly by European goldsmiths in Vancouver. After leaving social work, he started his formal jewellery training with Joseph Hecel, a master goldsmith from Poland who had learned the trade in Germany. Eight months later he moved to Ragnar's where he spent 1 1/2 years and then to Karl Stittgen's where for 2 years under the tutelage of a master goldsmith from Germany and four or five journeymen as well as journeymen from Hong Kong, Sweden and Denmark he completed his training.
